Class Locations

Making arrangements

  • Most of our classes are not held in hotels, so we do not have discounts with any local hotels except as noted under specific city listings.
  • Parking fees are the student's responsibility and vary by city from free (Boulder) to expensive (Atlanta).
  • Continental breakfast, snacks and coffee/tea are provided during the day.
  • All Classes have a high speed wireless internet connection. Generally, you are able to freely access the internet, but we have no control over limits at some sites. You are welcome to bring your laptop, but we provide one for IIS Fasttrack class use.

Boston

  • IIS 6 Fast Facts on Feb 7-9, 2005.
  • The classes will be held at the at the Regus  Burlington Center, 35 Corporate Dr, 4th floor, Burlington, MA 01803. Phone: 781-685-4600.

    The Center is located at the intersection of Routes 128/I-95 and 3A. Exit Route 128/I-95 onto Route 3A (exit 33B Burlington) and the Center is on the right. This is a 20 minute drive from Boston Logan International Airport and 5 minutes from Anderson (Woburn) metro station).

    There are many nearby hotels. One within a mile of the Center is the Four Points by Sheraton Burlington at Wheeler Road and Middlesex Turnpike; phone: 781 272-8800.

Atlanta

  •  IIS 6 Fast Facts on March 7-9, 2005.
  • The classes will be held at the Pinnacle Building at 3455 Peachtree Road N.E. 5th floor, Atlanta 30326 (phone:404 995-7000) at the Regus Business Center which is in the Buckhead commercial district. Parking fees at the Center are not reimbursed.

    There are many hotels within walking distance of the class site. The closest is Lenox Inn Buckhead, 3387 Lenox Road N.E. Phone: 404-261-5500. Also nearby are Amerisuites Buckhead and Fairfield Inn Buckhead.

    Local mass transit information from the airport and other parts of the city (to Buckhead exit N7)is available at www.itsmarta.com

Houston

Nearby hotels include: DoubleTree, 713-759-0202 and Best Western Downtown, 713-571-7733.

 

Los Angeles

  •  IIS 6 Fast Facts on April 4-6, 2005.
  • The class will be held at the Regus Business Center, 400 Continental Blvd, 6th Floor, El Segundo, CA 90245,  310 426 2000. Directions by air: Los Angeles International Airport is a four-minute ride away. By Road: From the 105 Freeway exit south on Nash. Turn right at the third traffic signal onto Mariposa Avenue. Turn left at the first traffic light onto Continental Blvd. Go to the second turning island and turn left into the parking area.

For a hotel, we suggest the nearby Doubletree Club Los Angeles International Airport, 1985 East Grand Av, El Segundo, CA 90245, 310-322-0999. It has airport shuttles and is within walking distance of the Regus Center where the class will be held. There are also many other choices as the Center is close to LAX.

Washington, DC

  •  IIS 6 Fast Facts on May 2-4, 2005.
  • The class will be held at the Regus Business Center, Evening Star Building,1101 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, 5th, 6th and 7th floors, Washington DC, 20004 USA.Phone: 202 756 4500By Road from the South: Take I-95 North to I-395 North; exit at 12th Street; turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue; the building is on the left, on the corner of 11th and Pennsylvania. From the North: Take I-270 South to I-495 East; take the MD185/Connecticut Avenue exit, keeping right at the fork; take Connecticut Avenue off the next roundabout; turn Left on K Street and then right on 11th Street; the building is on the left, on the corner of 11th and Pennsylvania; parking is available in the garage on 11th Street. By Air: Reagan National Airport is 4 miles south off of Highway 1. By Public Transport: The Federal Triangle Metro station is 1/2 block away on 12th Street.

Denver/Boulder

  • IIS 6 Fast Facts on June 6-8, 2005.
  • The class will be held  at the MILLENNIUM HOTEL, 1345 28th St, Boulder, CO 80302, 303-443-3850. If you stay at the Millennium tell the reservation clerk you're going to the IIS Training and there's a special $99 rate.

    If you're coming from out of town, you'll fly into to Denver International Airport (DIA). Boulder is about the same distance from the Denver airport (45 miles) as South Denver. You can get from the Denver airport to Boulder several ways. You can rent a car and drive, or you can take a shuttle from the airport. Boulder Super Shuttle http://www.yellowtrans.com/shuttle.html (schedule and rates) will give you a ride directly to any Boulder hotel or location for about $19 per person ($36 round trip). There is also public transportation via RTD (bus) that will take you from the airport to downtown Boulder for about $10. From downtown you can take a taxi to your hotel. Chicago

  • IIS 6 Fast Facts on July 11-13, 2005.
  • The class will be held at the Regus Center, 10 N Martingale Rd, 4th floor, Shaumburg, IL 60173. Telephone: 847-466-1100. The center is conveniently located on the west side of I-290 and Route 53 offering easy access to O'Hare International Airport and Woodfield Mall.
